How companies take advantage of online buyers who consume late at night

Economists call them "vampires" because they become active when night falls.
Its period of greatest activity takes place between 10 pm and 5 am. During those hours, they take on all kinds of products, from food to watches, clothes, air tickets and train stations, and other goods and services.
Many suffer from insomnia, anxiety and mental problems. And most of them are impulsive buyers or Internet addicts.
And, when you can not sleep, it is easier to fall into the trap of digital consumerism.

Meanwhile, mental health specialists warn about the need to protect this group.
Night and impulse buying
The British company payments and credit cards Barclaycard recently published research in which he explains that, in the UK, one in three people buy more online overnight.
"We have been watching this growing trend in purchases by credit card and debit time, so we decided to ask our customers what products they buy and at what times," he told the BBC Paul Lockstone, CEO of Barclaycard.
According to the study, those late night shoppers spend 42 extra minutes each week surfing late at night and 10:18 pm is the busiest time.
